Hi I’m Amber. 👋 My journey with quilting began in high school when a close friend and her mother introduced me to the craft. What started with a small baby quilt with nine patch blocks quickly grew into a lifelong passion. Over the years, I’ve made quilts for family, friends, weddings, and countless new babies — each one a keepsake full of warmth and care.
Like many quilters, I started on a home sewing machine. But as my projects grew in size, I discovered that I needed to send my projects off to a longarm quilting service. I know firsthand the nerves of sending off a quilt for the first time — wondering if seams would be judged or corners inspected. That experience is why I created Nest & Needle Quilting: a welcoming place where your hard work is honored, and your quilt is treated with the same care as if it were my own.

Quilting is done on an Innova M Series with AutoPilot Mach3 automation. The AutoPilot system allows for highly accurate stitching, ensuring perfect edge-to-edge designs and flawless pattern execution. This means every quilt comes out consistent, even on complex designs.
